Aerial Drone Shots – F.A.Qs
The maximum flight time on a single battery in normal conditions is upto 24 minutes. On average we fly up to 20 minutes before landing and changing the battery.
We carry spare pre-charged batteries on each shoot. It only takes a few minutes to change the battery and get back in air. So we are able to fly all day with very little disruption.
Yes – We can fly indoors but we need space. We have flown in warehouses, studios and for safety we can install propeller guards for indoor flights.
Our drones are battery powered with electric motors so there is no worry about polluting the environment. The dynamics of flying indoors are different. The construction and materials in the building can affect how the drone UAV flies.
95% of the time there are no issues with flying indoors but safety is our number one priority. Only a short flight test can give us the final answer.
We monitor the weather forecast 5 days in advance of any shoot. If the signs are not good we talk to the client 48 hours prior to the shoot.
If we both decide to stay with the day and we have bad weather, our pilots will wait on site as long as possible in the hope of a break in the weather.
If we have to re-schedule a date because of weather the booking deposit is transferred to the new date.
Our drones will fly in temperatures from -10°c to 40°c. In very cold weather we make sure the battery packs are warmed and kept warm before flying. The maximum drone flight times on one battery of 24 minutes can be reduced by up to 50% in very cold temperatures.
Virtual Tour – F.A.Qs
A virtual tour is a complete 360-degree view of a space with which a user can interact. With a good virtual tour, the user feels as if they’re standing within a space, controlling their movement within the area, zooming in and out, giving them the ability to focus in on areas of interest.
A virtual tour which is relevant to the viewer can help both build a brand and sell a product, through showcasing the space or products that will best inspire your audience. They enable you to bring your audience closer to you.
One of the most familiar applications of virtual tours is by estate agents. These tours tend to be small scale, and low-quality, as price is the biggest issue.
High-resolution (‘high definition’) tours that can be viewed at both small screen and full screen are the best option for any organisation for whom quality is important. They give a far better user experience and will showcase the space most effectively.
This depends on the type of project that you’re commissioning. When we’ve got an idea of your project, we’ll be able to talk you through the various options. We can guarantee that we provide excellent value, with future-proof virtual tours which will stand the test of time.
Web Design – F.A.Qs
Absolutely. Our goal is to please you. We can’t do that without your input. If there are other sites with a design style that you would like to emulate, we can do that. If you have a logo or brand collateral that you’d like us to work around, that’s no problem. We’ll be sure your new site will be a consistent and integral part of your overall brand.
There are many aspects that factor into the cost from concept through implementation. These costs can vary widely depending on what your project needs are and how long we estimate that it will take to complete the project. Please contact us to get a cost estimate for your website work.
Yes, we do. We provide full-color mockups to our clients for every project we work on once a contract has been signed. These mockups are the first step in our design process. Once we show them to you and come to an agreement about the website’s design, they’ll be the basis for your new website.
We try to make the most informed decisions when it comes to creating a website design, which is why we really get to know you, your market, and your audience before we prepare mockups.
Once the mockups are agreed upon, we’ll start actually building your website for you to see. At that point, we ask that there be no more than one (1) major revision to the design. Naturally you’ll have smaller changes and additions, but at that point, we consider the overall structure and design of the website to be set.
If you request too many changes to your design, or if you request changes to the design after the entire site has been formatted with the template, you will incur more charges.
SEO – F.A.Qs
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is the process of increasing your website’s visibility in terms of visitors, leads and sales through search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.
To simply put, SEO helps you get more visitors from search engines like Google to your websites by using few strategies such as link building, on page SEO, keyword research etc..
There are 3 main types of SEO which include:
- White hat SEO: White hat SEO focuses on users instead of search engines (that’s what Google loves too) and requires a lot of time and efforts. This is the preferable type of SEO you should follow if you want to get more out of search engines. It includes tactics like content marketing, mobile optimization, keyword research, competitor analysis etc.
- Black hat SEO: You should absolutely avoid this type of SEO as Google penalizes the sites that practic. It includes things like link cloaking, keyword stuffing, hidden text manipulation etc.
- Grey hat SEO: This is usually a combination of both the above two techniques (still you should avoid it) and usually contains tactics like buying links, having higher keyword density than text, spun content etc.
Google basically uses a website’s sitemap to index pages within them. A sitemap usually contains a list of pages on your site that you have decided to tell Google what to index and what NOT to index.
We’ve been doing SEO for so many years now and we know one thing for sure: getting results from SEO takes time. There’s no exact answer on how long does it usually take to get SEO results but we can give you an idea about it.
It usually takes 6 to 8 months (or at least 1 year if you’re entering into a competitive industry) to start getting results such as search visitors, leads and sales to your sites from search engines like Google.
You’ll considerably be getting better results as you continue doing SEO for long time when compared to short term results. That means whatever the search traffic that you get to your site in the first 6 months will be much lesser when compared to the next 6 months and so on.
